Rose Hill Wins Championship

Rose Hill High School Boys basketball team wins the 36th Annual Adolph Rupp Invitational High School Basketball Tournament! The entire Rose Hill team played exceptionally well. The championship game against Inman was particularly exciting, with just 2 points separating 1st and 2nd place! Congratulations, Rose Hill, on your Championship!

Pre-Tourney Note: Rose Hill Team Will Strive to Win Rupp Tournament

After losing 6 starters from last year (I say 6 because they all started at one time or another and that group finished 15-7 which tied for the best record in 20 yrs at RHHS), I was concerned about this year's team from a 'lack of experience' viewpoint. We start three Juniors and two seniors, and do not have depth. Our goal is to be a great defensive team with full and half court pressure throughout the game. We would like to achieve something no RHHS team has ever done and that is to win the Rupp Tournament. We know with our young and inexperiended group that that will be a tall order, especially with Halstead coming up Friday night at Halstead. The tournament is talented and precision run as usual and we are honored to be in it. ~ Coach R. Stone
