Coach Unrau Comments:

We don’t feature a lot of size again this year so being disciplined and fundamental at the offensive and defensive end of the floor will be critical for us. We graduated 75% of our scoring from last year’s team so we are going to need a number of individuals to step up and carry the scoring load for us. Defense and rebounding need to be a priority for us and I will be looking for players that are committed to turning defense into offense. We have to find a way to score quick and easy baskets but be disciplined enough to grind it out when needed in the half-court game. On defense, we will play man and zone and will extend the defense as needed and as our depth will allow. We need to make considerable improvement in taking care of the basketball as turnovers plagued us last year. We will have to work very hard every night as our league and non-league schedule is again very tough.
