Andale vs. Inman Game (Fri. Jan. 22nd, 2009)
Halstead- The Thursday night Adolph Rupp games began with the Inman Teutons taking on the Andale Indians.
The Rupp Tournament brings great ball teams together. The size of the school is not always representative of who will dominate. The first quarter of this match up found the 4A Indians in a slump against the 2A Teutons: 8 to 18. Sam Martin of Inman scored 11 of the 18 in the first quarter. At half Inman was still in command of the game 27 to Andale's 19.
The second half of play found the Indians gaining strength in the third quarter with Brock Neville scoring 6 and Brice Albert scoring 6, Inman scoring 8 points. The fourth quarter brought Scott Hermreck in scoring 6 and Bruce Albert scoring 2 and going to the free-throw line making 4 of his 6 free-throws. Inman became cold only scoring 5 points in the fourth quarter.
Final: Andale 46, Inman 40
